Holiday season is here and Christmas or New Year's Night is not complete without the traditional Eggnog. Although this is available to buy in stores, homemade Eggnog is easy to do at home. You could also use eggnog in other traditional recipes such as pies, puddings and cupcakes.
2 1/3 cup whole milk (you could also use low-fat milk, soy milk or almond milk)
1 tsp of vanilla
1/2 fluid once of rum (optional)
1 pinch of nutmeg, ground
Directions: Blend thoroughly together all the ingredients above. Then chill before serving.
This recipe makes about 3 to 4 servings.
Note: if you want a more creamier recipe just add half a can (5 oz) of condensed milk
